“A crowd favourite.”

"One-of-a-kind, energetic, artistic, and engaging performer.”

Summer 2023 Upcoming Events at Larch Hills Winery in Salmon Arms

We’re kicking off the month of July by featuring live music from Marv Marchura, evening wine and cheese pairings, and more.

July 1st — Live Music from Marv Marchura

Marv Marchura’s music, described as “Neo-Folk,” follows the modern singing-songwriting traditions of famous artists like John Denver, Ian Tyson, and Gordon Lightfoot. His “Western Canadian Roots” music is rooted in the people, land, and history of Western Canada. Since moving to Vernon, BC, in 2013, Marv has been travelling all across the Okanagan and Thompson Valleys, entertaining enthusiasts with his talent as a singing guitarist.

With many years of performing experience, Marv enjoys entertaining audiences of all ages in restaurants, pubs, concerts, patios, winery events, festivals, and even homes! He doesn’t use any backing tracks or other electronic aids like tablets or lyric sheets — instead, he keeps things simple by engaging audiences using only his voice, guitar, connection with the crowd, and the unique needs of the venue and show.

Professionally performing since he was a teen, Marv has released many singles and four acclaimed CDs and published 20+ songs in Nashville. He’s performed at countless Western Canadian music festivals throughout his career, including the Edmonton Folk Festival.

Want a sneak peek? Stream Marv’s Western Canadian Roots music through Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and more.

As a family-run, land-based vineyard and winery, we challenge ourselves every day to offer something new to the Canadian wine landscape. We proudly make all our products from 100% BC grapes, either from our main vineyard just south of Salmon Arm or from vineyards we contract from further south in the Okanagan Valley.
